Port Blair (Sri Vijay Puram): With the NEET PG-2026 examination scheduled for August 30, the South Andaman District Administration has stepped up preparations to ensure its smooth, secure and orderly conduct across four examination centres in the district. The centres identified for the examination are Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT), Dollygunj; SIS Computer Education, Middle Point; and India Technology, Middle Point, where two examination centres will operate.
Deputy Commissioner, Purva Garg, along with Superintendent of Police (District), Additional District Magistrate and the concerned Executive Magistrates and Examination Centre In-charges, conducted a joint inspection of all four centres to assess preparedness and review arrangements ahead of the examination. During the inspection, the officials examined critical aspects of the examination infrastructure and operational arrangements, including security and law-and-order measures, seating capacity and layout, entry and exit arrangements, deployment of examination personnel, essential amenities and other logistical requirements.
The concerned officers and officials were directed to complete all requisite arrangements well in advance and ensure strict compliance with the prescribed examination guidelines and protocols.
The District Administration has stressed the need for close coordination among all departments and personnel involved in the examination process to ensure that the NEET PG-2026 examination is conducted in a fair, transparent, secure and peaceful manner. Officials have also been instructed to remain prepared for prompt response to any requirement that may arise during the examination.
Meanwhile, candidates appearing for the examination have been advised to reach their respective centres well in advance, carry all prescribed documents and permitted examination materials, and strictly follow the instructions issued by the examination authorities. The administration has assured that necessary arrangements are being put in place at all four centres to facilitate the safe, secure and hassle-free conduct of NEET PG-2026 on August 30.
