Fresh crackdown on encroachments: 1.5 hectares of Government land reclaimed

Diglipur: The District Administration of North & Middle Andaman continued its anti-encroachment drive on Government land by carrying out an eviction operation at Radhanagar Village under Diglipur Tehsil. According to the District Administration, encroachments in the form of temporary sheds, arecanut plantations and banana plantations were removed from six different locations during the operation. As a result, 1.5 hectares of revenue land was restored to the Government Revenue Records.

The District Administration reiterated its commitment to protecting Government land from unauthorized occupation and stated that strict action against encroachments will continue in accordance with the provisions of the law.The Administration also urged members of the public to refrain from encroaching upon Government land and to cooperate in safeguarding public property.
